So this is a brief hair update! For many people that know me... They know how I wear my hair. For the ones who do not know.... I wear my hair in extensions like 90% of the time. I don't do it because I feel "prettier" with the longer hair attached. I do this for two reasons in particular.
Reason #1: It is a protective style. Naturals and others amoung that are on a growth journey and trying to maintain the health of one's hair knows protective styling is one of the main keys to do so.
Reason #2: I am lazy! LOL seriously! I work 2 jobs and I'm an aspiring entrepreneur, so I don't have that much time to relax, let alone worry about doing my hair! Sheesh!
The excitement of wearing my hair away is when I finally take it down for some air.
My twists are now movable and it feels good to know that. About a month ago I made a terrible mistake... I wore my hair in a frohawk when the sun was blazing outside. My ends became fried. So I made a decision to trim off about 1 cm of my ends. Now that's a distant memory because my hair grew right back, if not longer. My hair touches my collar bone. I'm so proud of my progress!
This is just proof that all it takes is patience and the right techniques for hair care. Along with the right products... That's debatable. I'm not a firm believer in the product usage.
