2012 Is Almost Here!!!

Hello folks! Are you guys ready for this year to come? It's about to be 2012, the new most controversial year thus far. As we all know this is the year where some drastic changes will commence. I won't go as extreme and say "THE END OF THE WORLD," considering I'm not a fortune teller that possesses a third eye (that I know of).

A lot of changes have been made to better the quality of my life. I hope that everyone celebrates the beginning of this year with the ones that they love. I pray that everyone has a fresh start with the year of 2012.

This one was short and sweet.
Until next time folks!

I Feel Great!!!

Hello world! I pray everyone has plans to spend with the ones they love for the upcoming holidays. As for me I definitely am going to spend it with the ones that I truly love. People that have been around for all my transformations thus far.

My sister and I just finished doing the first taping of No Rules Allowed. Its a show that cover various topics while putting our lovely flare in it. Lol I made it sound so blah! My sister's Mission statement is way better though.

I have met some amazing new individuals coming out to this event and I feel a burst of positivity. I feel amazingly inspired. At this moment in my life I feel content with the person that I have become. Of course there are still adjustments that can be made, however it's time to give credit when it's due.

Go where the wind takes you... You may be surprised at what you get. If something doesn't go as planned, don't fret. Shrug off the bad vibes and take it as a learning experience. That's what life is... A learning experience.

Until next time folks!

Happy Hump Day!

Hello folks! Good morning! I know it's like 5am, but I cannot get back to sleep :-/. So I decided I have a few words to release into this wonder world of the internet.

Last night was my sister's Premiere of her new show Live in Harlem. It's a show where people who are lovers of the performing arts can showcase their talent. I'm so proud of her.

Today's blog is going to be about trial and errors we experience throughout life... People only get disappointed because they have expectations, no matter what the situation. People always seem to have a preconceived notion that things will go great the first time around. I feel like that is already setting up things to be doomed. If one little thing goes wrong, it will cause you to get easily discouraged and not want to try it again.

I'm not saying expect things to go badly either. I feel that if you go into a situation hope for the best, but be prepared for the worst. I hope that doesn't sound like a negative way of thinking.

For example: the first event MIX IT UP! Body Products has ever participated in. That day things at first seemed like it would go wrong, but it didn't. Just as I started to doubt my craft and it's appeal, I was pleasantly surprised. However, if things went completely wrong that day, I would now have more if an idea of what I want for my business. You see how I turned that into a learning experience I could grow from?

Despite if things go as planned or not take it and grow from it. Isn't that what life's all about? Trial and error.

Have a nice day folks!

Epiphany

Hey you guys! When i thought of this blog I was laying on a bean bag at job #1... Just relaxing now that most of the children were taking a nap.

Lately I've been thinking a lot about vibes. One must ask themselves constantly: What kind of vibes do I give off? Are they good ones? More importantly: How does that affect my surroundings? What kind of people do I attract?

Those are just few of the self reflecting questions I've been asking myself lately. I want you guys to try and think about that as well. As creatures of habit we all fall into the same routine patterns. Regardless of whether we are conscious of it or not. The habits even create behavioral patterns as well. The way we respond to an issue, how we interact with others, etc. Once you have figured out the way you behave depending on what situation, then you can determine what vibes you exude.

Haven't you ever noticed that some of your friends have very similar traits as you do?

Ask yourselves these few questions and others you can think of. Repeat them over and over until it truly sinks in. Then eventually the answers will come to the surface.

It's time to take steps toward creating a more self aware kind of being.

Until next time folks
