I've got the Blues!!

My phone has taken it's course... It has officially died! Even though my phone is the source of my business life line. For some strange reason I'm not even upset about it. I guess the material things are not always so important.

I actually like the fact that my phone wasn't on today. I didn't have to worry about if someone decided to hit me up or not. I didn't feel some type of way if no one called me... I believe everyone should at least turn their phone off for one whole day, without worry. It takes some getting used to, but it helps to clear your mind and enjoy some alone time. So there was a good thing that came out of something that could be considered tragic.

Thank goodness pay day is tomorrow! LOL I should be getting a new phone... Sadly with my own money. I've also been getting calls lately from the other job, so that's another plus!

This was just a quick update with what's going on in my life...
I will start blogging on a more consistent basis real real soon.

MIX IT UP! Body Products First Debut Recap!

It turned to be a huge success! I just wanted to thank everyone that showed their love, support and interest in my company. I couldn't have done it without my sister and besty. I've made sales and connections. This event was one of soon to be many events that I will participate in.

I feel that was the step that I needed to progress to the next level as far as business goes. I'm pleased that this was a positive experience. Sometimes it's good to take risks and put your craft out there, because you never really know what you're going to get.

Shout out to the wonderful people my team and I met on Wednesday! You have made this experience a great and from the bottom of my heart I thank you!

So the moral of this story is... With the right effort put forth and patience you may have a rewarding experience.

My Patience is Wearing Thin!

I have no phone until next Thursday! -__- Honestly this isn't that big of a deal for me anyway because I receive phone calls from like the same four people. So if this upcoming week was a regular one, I wouldn't be too peeved if my phone died for good.

However, this upcoming week is not a regular one! This is the week of the Spa Day event! How i the frig am I suppose to run a business properly and professionally if I do not have a phone! I do not get paid until next Thursday! The event is the day before I get paid! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

The reality of my situation didn't set in just yet, so at this moment I am calm. I have faith that everything will work itself out. I need to keep a positive outlook on this situation because, if not I will only stress myself out. Lord knows I am a natural worrier, the last thing I need is more stress built on top of my everyday stress.

On the bright side I have whipped up more than 20 containers of Shea and Cocoa butter put together! At least 45+ samples and already up to 8 containers of scented sea salts. So for the most part I've done at least more than half the work. I am proud of myself, considering that all these were created on a fixed budget... So other than working like a mad man and my business, not much else is going on with me.

So the moral of this post is.... To have faith and no matter how difficult, stay positive. It is very difficult when it seems life is turning for the worse, but being negative makes it so much worse. Sometimes we as people really need to be careful with what we say, because we can speak things into existence.
