So Thursday I got my wisdom teeth removed on the right side of my face. Whenever I mentioned this situation to someone, they would say, " You will be in so much pain." So initially that will have a girl nervous as ever. So when I went to the dentist and had the procedure done. It turns out it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I expected to have an extremely swollen face, to not be able to talk and all that jazz.
This situation brings up my point, of listening to others' opinions. We as people tend to value what others think about us, along with other things. People relate to others by sharing their own opinions, because of their experiences. Most I mentioned the tooth extraction to, must have had bad experiences. That doesn't mean that my experience will be bad as well. We as people tend to let others' opinions block us from making our own discoveries.
Maybe my experience could've been a bad one. Although I'm grateful that it wasn't. I still went to found out for myself. I don't regret it. So I'm saying this to say, sometimes we need to not always listen to others. Sometimes, opinions are good, but when your actions are influenced completely by them is when it becomes a problem.
The lesson of this story is to live your life and do what you want. At the end of the day people may say what they want, but the ultimate decision is up to you. So choose wisely with your decisions.
Until next time folks!
